Cambridge AICE
The Cambridge AICE program emphasizes the importance of critical thinking skills and communication in today s global world. Worldwide, many universities recognize the AICE Diploma for advanced standing at the university level and may award up to 45 hours of college credit for achieving the AICE Diploma. The expansion of the Cambridge AICE program gives Collier County Public School students the opportunity to achieve the prestigious AICE Diploma. This rigorous academic and accelerated program of study is offered solely through the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a division of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. The purpose of Advanced Studies and Gifted Education is to ensure high expectations and academic achievement for students who are grouped on the basis of achievement and interest in specific content areas. The content, pacing, and expected student outcomes differ from other courses in the same content area. Differentiation in these courses is based on the students’ potential and needs.

Collier County Public Schools’ Office of Career Technical Education (CTE) coordinates and implements career education K-12, all career and technical courses and programs, technical preparation, post-secondary articulation agreements, and school-to-career programs including career shadowing, career mentoring, and teacher externships.

The purpose of the Driver Education course is to introduce students to the highway transportation system and to strategies that will develop driving knowledge related to today’s and tomorrow’s motorized society.
